OPIS’s ePRO mobile app has been developed to be one of main features of the proprietary EDC platform, Clinical.net. Its implementation in clinical trials has seen a steady increase over the last years.
The overall purpose of the app is to make the trial more patient-friendly, limiting patient visits to the site and creating a direct connection between the patient and the study staff that is easy to access. The app allows the collection of the patient-reported outcomes during the trial.

The OPIS multi-language APP
The OPIS multi-language APP with dynamic content is easily adaptable to suit any requested type of questionnaire. Patients and/or physicians can be provided with a downloadable application that allows compilation of questionnaires directly on patient/ athlete mobile devices (BYOD – bring your own device approach). Seamless migration and data integration with Clinical.Net System ensure that questionnaire data is available in the study Portal in real-time.
A pre-configured app with the electronic versions of the questionnaires including Likert scale will be implemented and as described above, patients will be able to report outcomes with the use of their own mobile devices equipped with a downloadable APP. Questionnaires will be completed maintaining anonymized patient profiles and correspondence to the patient position allocated in the eCRF. All collected information will therefore be immediately integrated in the Clinical.net study portal and ready for data processing.
